Abena Osei-Asare resigns from ADB Board

The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has announced the resignation of Abena Osei-Asare, the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, from her position as a non-executive director, effective August 7, 2024.

Osei-Asare, who joined the ADB Board in August 2018, played a pivotal role in the bank's operations, particularly as the chair of the Risk Committee.

Her resignation is prompted by her recent appointments to the Board of the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Stability Council, roles that demand her full attention and commitment.

In a statement, the Board Chairman, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff for Osei-Asare’s significant contributions to ADB PLC’s growth and development during her tenure.

Her leadership and expertise were instrumental in guiding the bank through various challenges and opportunities over the past six years.
