The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to officially commission the newly constructed head office of the Lands Commission on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The event, which highlights a significant advancement in land administration and management in Ghana, will see the Vice President being joined by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, MP.
Located adjacent to the Survey School near the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, the state-of-the-art facility is designed to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
The new complex boasts cutting-edge technological infrastructure, modern office spaces, a 250-seater auditorium, a gymnasium, and a baby care center, among other amenities.
The commissioning ceremony is expected to attract a high-profile audience, including Chief Executive Officers of Land Sector Agencies, representatives from the Parliamentary Select Committee on Lands and Forestry, traditional authorities, past Executive Secretaries of the Lands Commission, and staff of the commission within the Greater Accra Region.
This milestone project underscores the government’s commitment to improving land management and streamlining services within the sector.
The event will commence at 9:00 AM sharp.
