Ride-hailing service Bolt has teamed up with Silverbird Cinemas to launch a fun-filled Valentine’s campaign dubbed “Break Up with Your Car, Not Your Date”.

The initiative, which runs through February 14, encourages couples and movie lovers to ditch their cars and let Bolt handle their transportation for a hassle-free date night.

The campaign taps into the popular Valentine’s joke about people “breaking up” to avoid expenses.

However, Bolt flips the script, playfully suggesting that riders “break up” with their cars instead and enjoy a romantic evening at the movies without the stress of driving and parking.

As a highlight of the campaign, the first 100 Bolt riders to arrive at Silverbird Cinemas on Valentine’s Day will receive free tickets to two romantic movies, complete with complimentary snacks.

Additionally, visitors at the Silverbird foyer can participate in a Spin-to-Win contest for a chance to win exciting prizes, including free movie tickets and Bolt ride credits.

Speaking on the campaign, Henry Whyte, Senior Operations Manager at Bolt, said:“At Bolt, we celebrate love, fun, and seamless experiences. This initiative is our way of rewarding our customers while promoting stress-free commuting. We’re excited to partner with Silverbird Cinemas to make this Valentine’s Day truly special for our riders.”

The campaign promises to make Valentine’s Day memorable, whether for couples enjoying a romantic evening or friends gathering for a fun night out.

With Bolt taking care of the ride, participants can focus on creating unforgettable moments with their loved ones.
