The Acting Chief Director at the Ministry of Health, Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari has charged all public health testing laboratories across the country to count charging 'only travellers' for all covid-19 tests.
According to him, all other walk-in requests must be free.
In a communique sighted by ThinkNews Online, Mr Oku-Afari "All other walk-in requests such as ill-health, contact tracing, and exposure must be done free-of-charge using public health resources"
The communique also cautioned all public health laboratories across the country to take note and comply.
ThinkNews Online can confirm that all 16 regions across the country have recorded covid-19 cases.
