"Disregard sponsored content, materials that promote unhealthy competition" - FDA cautions public

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has cautioned the general public to disregard all sponsored content and materials that promote unhealthy competition which favours those brands in the country.


According to the FDA, the sponsored content and materials also creates fear and panic among consumers.


In a statement sighted by Thinknewsonline.com, it said " The Authority advises the general public to promptly report such videos to the Authority"


"The Authority advises the general public to only buy packaged and bottled water registered by the FDA"


The FDA reminded the general public to check registration dates of products they patronise.


"The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has noted with concern videos which has resurfaced via YouTube on the pH levels of some brands of bottled water"


"The video suggests that some brands have pH values which are out of the allowable pH rang, are impure and not suitable for drinking.
