President Akufo-Addo has sent a strong warning to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo and Ghana's High Commissioner to India, H. E Mike Oquaye Jnr to comport themselves in Saturday's Parliamentary Primaries.
According to President Akufo-Addo, any of contenders who does not exhibit good behaviour, will be axed from his government.
President Akufo-Addo said "If both of you cause trouble, I will remove you from the party"
President Akufo-Addo further called for calm amongst constituents in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency adding that regardless the outcome, the party is always a winner.
Information gathered by ThinkNewsOnline reveals the two factions have been at loggerheads for many years.
Although the genesis of the misunderstanding from both camps are unknown, it might take years before peace prevails in the Constituency.
The current MP and the High Commissioner will be battling each other this weekend for the slot of a Parliamentary Candidate as the winner will lead the party to the December Elections.
ThinkNewsOnline is learning that Mr. Oquaye Jr. has pleaded with his followers to exhibit good behaviour during and after the Parliament Primaries.
Mr Oquaye Jr. says he is confident, he will unseat the current MP, Adwoa Safo and lead the party to victory in December.
Addressing delegates, Ambassador Mike Oquaye Junior said "This is from the President of the Republic of Ghana. Today, Adwoa Safo and I met him and the President said he doesn’t want any confusion between us, or any division at Dome Kwabenya. He said between today and the time of the elections, I, Mike Oquaye Jr. and Sarah Adwoa Safo, whoever causes trouble in the constituency, he will advise himself and we will not be part of his future government”
