
The Elite Ga Ladies Association (EGLA) has paid a courtesy call on King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, at his palace in Accra.
The visit was aimed at officially introducing the association to the Overlord of the Ga State and seeking his wise counsel and blessings.
Leading the delegation, Naa Adoley Thompson, President of EGLA, expressed gratitude to the Ga Mantse for granting them an audience.

She highlighted the association's dedication to empowering the youth through various impactful initiatives over the years.
"As we approach our 10th anniversary, we remain committed to fostering a sustainable and prosperous Ga State. We look forward to collaborating with the Ga Mantse to achieve more great things for the youths in the Ga community," she stated.

Speaking on behalf of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, Nii Aboo Kyerekuanda V, Ga Woleiats3 commended EGLA for its efforts and reaffirmed his support for their mission.

He emphasized the importance of unity and development within the Ga State and encouraged the group to continue championing positive change.
"The Ga Mantse’s Palace will be calling on you to play a key role in advancing girl-child education within the Ga State. Your dedication to community development is commendable, and I assure you of my full support," he assured them

On his Nii Ahene Nunoo III, Abola Mantse urged EGLA to focus more on the development of Ga youth, particularly young women.

He emphasized that achieving this would help dispel the perception that Ga ladies are disrespectful.
The meeting marked a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between EGLA and the Ga Traditional Council in promoting cultural heritage, education, and youth development in the Ga State.
