Former Manchester United and current striker of Italian Giants, AC Milan Football Club, Zlatan Ibrahimović has revealed that although the current Red Devils team looks better than his era, he won trophies with the team.
According to him, winning the trophies makes it the big difference.
Reacting to AC Milan’s loss to Manchester United in Thursday’s UEFA EUROPA League at San Siro in Italy, he said “I think it better. It looks better but it doesn’t matter if you don’t win nothing. I think it was better than mine but I won trophies that is the big difference”
The prolific striker also added that he thinks in two games, AC Milan did well adding that they played two good games and created good chances.
He further explained that the Milan team could have scored but they did one mistake and got a goal against them.
“This is football. If you don’t score goals, you can play as good as you can, if you don’t score, you don’t go to the next round and I think two solid games, we did good but unfortunately, we did not go through and that is the way it is. I missed the first game and today, I came in for 30 minutes and I had a lot of will to come in but I think the team did well”
Speaking on his call-back into the Swedish Senior National Team, he said “I am happy! I am happy!! But I have another game here. I just came back from my injury and to gather rhythm from the game and then the National Team camp will come but I am proud and I am happy so I see it as unreal because I stopped like 4 to 5 years ago and I have my age now but am called up for the National Team, I am happy”
The big Ibrahimović assured his colleague team mates to grow from the moment adding that they will grow and become stronger from it.
He cared the team to keep fighting.
