"I Will Not Leave King Faisal Until The Season Is Over" - Kwame Peprah


Kwame Peprah has been the secret behind King Faisal’s surprising victories over some big clubs in the ongoing Ghana premier League.

However, King Faisal has found an epiphany in Kwame Peprah with whose efforts the club were able to make some unpresidented comebacks in their 4-3 victory against Berekum Chelsea and 1-0 win against Medeama SC in the week 13 of the ongoing Ghana premier League.


The striker has currently banged in 8 goals and keenly contesting on the goal king table. In an interview with Power plus FM, Kwame Peprah said, “I am not leaving King Faisal despite the offers I and my agent have received from some clubs, I am very comfortable at King Faisal now, and i don’t want to leave King Faisal to suffer at this time of the season”.

Kwame Peprah on how King Faisal were able to make that unpresidented comeback against Berekum Chelsea, he narrated that, ” when we went to the dressing room at first half, we were down by three goals and our coach told us that, the Berekum Chelsea players are not better than us but just that they have utilised their chances so we should create a lot of chances and make that we utilise every chance we will create in the second half. And also Alhaji Grusa also called and motivated us to go and fight it all out because we can win the game. So we decided to do what our leaders have told us and we won the match”.


When asked what his target for this season is, Kwame Peprah said he is aiming at scoring more than 20 goals.

“I am aiming to score 20-25 goals in the league this season, and i strongly believe that with the help of playing mates I will achieve my aim at the end of the season”.


Kwame Peprah on King Faisal relegation battle “We will do everything possible for the club to be out of the relegation zone, we have promised ourselves and Alhaji a better position in the league at the end of the season”. Kwame Peprah on Black Stars call-up,

“I think it is the dream of every Ghanaian player to play for the Black stars, so i am hoping and praying to get a black stars call-up”.


Kwame Peprah on his next feature, ” A lot of clubs have shown interest in me and want to sign me but i think my agent will be the one to decide on which club is better for me”.
