IMF urges Ghana reforms

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has emphasized the importance of steadfast policy implementation and reform in restoring long-term macroeconomic stability likewise ensuring debt sustainability in Ghana.


According to the IMF in a press conference in Washington DC, it revealed that it was essential for the government to continue executing its economic program as planned to foster sustainable growth and reduce poverty.


The Fund has acknowledged the significant progress made so far, commending the Ghanaian authorities for their strong commitment to the program at all levels.


In particular, the IMF welcomed recent statements from Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, reaffirming the government's dedication to maintaining the policies necessary for achieving these goals.


With this consistent focus on reforms, the IMF remains optimistic about Ghana's path toward economic recovery and sustainable development.
