Indonesia congratulate Ghana on its 68th Independence Anniversary

Indonesia has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ghana as the nation marks its 68th Independence Day celebration.
In a statement, H.E. Paskal A.B. Rois, Honorary Consul of Indonesia to Ghana, conveyed best wishes on behalf of the Government and people of Indonesia, commending Ghana’s progress and resilience over the decades.
“As Ghana commemorates this remarkable milestone, we reflect on the nation’s enduring journey of growth, resilience, and national pride,” Rois said.
He noted that the theme for this year’s celebration, “Reflect, Review, and Reset,” aligns with Indonesia’s values of development, unity, and sustainability.
H.E. Rois reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Ghana, emphasizing key areas of collaboration that can drive mutual progress.
Agriculture & Agribusiness: Indonesia pledged to support Ghana’s agricultural sector by sharing expertise in modern farming techniques, sustainable practices, and mechanization to boost food security and economic prosperity.
Trade & Investment: With Ghana positioning itself as a regional economic hub, Indonesia expressed readiness to deepen trade ties and encourage investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, and services to support Ghana’s industrialization drive.
Capacity Building & Education: Recognizing the importance of human capital, Indonesia promised to continue offering scholarships, training programs, and leadership development initiatives for Ghanaian youth.
Infrastructure Development: Given its experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, Indonesia signaled its willingness to collaborate on transportation, energy, and urban development initiatives in Ghana.
Tourism & Cultural Exchange: Beyond trade and business, Rois emphasized the significance of cultural and tourism exchanges to strengthen the bond between the two nations.
As Ghana reflects on its past achievements and charts a path for the future, H.E. Rois reiterated Indonesia’s unwavering support in helping the country achieve its national goals.
“The shared vision of progress and prosperity between our two nations presents immense opportunities for collaboration. Indonesia is honored to continue working hand-in-hand with Ghana to achieve its ambitious goals,” he stated.
