The award, now in its seventh year, celebrates the remarkable contributions of women in the PR industry, highlighting their leadership, impact on the next generation of PR professionals, and commitment to advancing the industry through innovative campaigns.
Osisiadan-Bekoe's recognition places her among other influential figures in the PR sector, including Esther Cobbah (CEO of Stratcomm Africa and President of IPR Ghana), Sophia Kudjordji (Chief Corporate Communications Officer at Jospong Group of Companies), and Ivy Heward-Mills (Director of the Center for International Education and Collaboration at the University of Professional Studies, Accra).

In 2024, Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe distinguished herself through strategic leadership in PR campaigns, educational initiatives, and community outreach.
Under her leadership at GI-KACE, she spearheaded the re/Start Initiative, a groundbreaking program aimed at enhancing digital technology skills among Ghanaian youth.
The initiative trained 2,954 participants in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing, helping to address youth unemployment and equip young people with critical skills for the modern job market.
Osisiadan-Bekoe also led the stakeholder engagement campaign for the Technology-Enabled Open School Project (TeOSS), a collaboration between GI-KACE, UNESCO, and Huawei.
The project focuses on improving digital skills for students from diverse backgrounds, including girls, persons with disabilities, and underserved rural communities.
Her team’s work on the eskills4Jobs initiative similarly empowered 2,735 young people with essential digital skills, boosting their employability in today’s competitive job market.

As the Senior Vice President of External Relations and Corporate Strategy for SUCCA Africa, she has championed the need for better communication strategies in the fight against climate change.

Before joining GI-KACE, she served as the Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana Post Company Limited, where she honed her crisis management skills.
Her media experience includes roles as Head of Television at Homebase Television and Deputy Managing Director at Light Television, giving her a deep understanding of media operations and information dissemination.
Academically, Osisiadan-Bekoe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems and an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy.
She further advanced her expertise with a Master’s degree in Public Relations and a certification in Digital Marketing Strategy from the University of the Arts, London.
