The Nollywood film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular actor Big Larry on Friday, September 13, 2024.
The tragic news was confirmed by renowned movie producer Stanley Nwoke, also known as Stanley Ontop, who shared the heartbreaking announcement on his Instagram page.
The cause of Big Larry's death remains unknown.
"Nollywood actor Big Larry has just passed away. What caused his demise is yet to be known. May your soul rest in peace, Big Larry. Nollywood, Asaba mourns," Stanley wrote.
Fans and fellow actors have since flooded social media with tributes, expressing their grief and disbelief.
Big Larry’s passing follows the recent loss of actress Sharon Okpamen, and adds to a growing list of Nollywood stars who have passed away this year, including Mr Ibu, Dayo Adewunmi, and Amaechi Muonagor.
