The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals in connection with violent disturbances that occurred during a District Roads Improvement Programme (DRIP) commissioning ceremony in Apam on September 16, 2024. The incident left one person injured.
The suspects, identified as Alhaji Kassim Mohammed, Stephen Cobbinah alias Bonjour, and Joseph Mensah alias Kofi Kokor, were reportedly armed with offensive weapons during the disruption.
The three are currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court.
Police have declared other individuals involved in the violence as wanted, and efforts are underway to apprehend them.
