Police launch manhunt for thugs who disrupted Council of State Regional elections in Kumasi

The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for a group of individuals who stormed the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and violently disrupted the Council of State Regional Elections held in Kumasi earlier today.


According to a statement from the police, officers are actively reviewing all available surveillance footage and other evidence to identify and apprehend the culprits responsible for the chaos.



The disruption, which led to a temporary halt in the electoral process, has sparked widespread condemnation, with calls for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Authorities have assured the public of their commitment to ensuring the integrity of the election process and maintaining law and order in the region
