Surround yourself with the brightest minds Ghana has to offer, regardless oIn an impassioned statement, Bishop Titi-Ofei outlined a roadmap for the former president, emphasizing the need to unify the nation, tackle poverty, and prioritize integrity in governance.
Bishop Titi-Ofei described Mr. Mahama’s return to the presidency as a unique privilege that carries immense responsibility.
"Few leaders in history are given a second chance to lead. This moment is not just about politics but about reshaping the future of Ghana and leaving a legacy that will endure," he said.
He admonished Mr. Mahama to acknowledge the achievements of his predecessor while addressing the nation’s challenges with meekness and maturity.
"Leadership is not a competition but a service. Correct the wrongs with humility and build on the successes of the past," Bishop Titi-Ofei advised.
The leadership coach stressed that the heart of governance lies in addressing the plight of the nation’s most vulnerable. "From the struggling farmer to the market woman and the trotro driver, let their struggles guide your policies. Create sustainable opportunities, champion healthcare, and empower education for all children, regardless of their background," he said.
Bishop Titi-Ofei called for job creation through entrepreneurship, industrialization, and rural investments, urging the former president to ensure economic growth benefits every Ghanaian.
Touching on governance, Bishop Titi-Ofei urged Mr. Mahama to take a firm stand against corruption by prosecuting offenders, regardless of their rank. However, he cautioned against using the justice system as a tool for political vendettas. "Avoid persecuting opponents under the guise of accountability. Build a nation, not a dynasty," he advised.
Bishop Titi-Ofei also encouraged Mr. Mahama to prioritize competence over partisanship in his appointments.
"Surround yourself with the brightest minds Ghana has to offer, regardless of their political affiliations. Let your leadership reflect a commitment to excellence and national progress,"
The leadership coach highlighted the spiritual dimension of governance, urging Mr. Mahama to seek God’s guidance in all decisions.
"Leadership is a calling, and God has placed this mantle on you for such a time as this. Restore the National Day of Prayer and lead with principles rooted in faith and truth," he emphasized.
Bishop Titi-Ofei concluded with a heartfelt appeal: "This second chance is not for you alone but for Ghana. Prove to the people and to God that you are a servant-leader, chosen to uplift, transform, and glorify the nation."
His message, delivered with both conviction and hope, challenges Mr. Mahama to rise above partisanship and politics to serve as a unifying force for all Ghanaians.
