Delivering his final Christmas message as President on December 24, 2024, President Akufo-Addo reflected on the privilege and responsibility of serving as Ghana’s leader, noting the collective achievements made during his tenure.
“As I approach the conclusion of my tenure as your president, I want to speak from the heart and say, thank you. Serving as the leader of our beloved country has been the greatest honour of my life,” he stated.
President Akufo-Addo underscored the critical role of leadership in nation-building and commended the resilience and determination of Ghanaians in driving the country's progress.
“Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones. We have expanded access to education, strengthened the healthcare system, invested in infrastructure, revitalised agriculture, accelerated the industrial transformation of the economy, and worked tirelessly to secure a brighter future for our children,” he noted.
