Sogakope District Hospital to reject dead bodies from other facilities over lack of space

The Sogakope District Hospital says it will soon be compelled to reject dead bodies from other facilities as it struggles to accomodate the increasing numbers.

According to the District Hospital, its morgue is running out of space.

In an interview with an Accra-based radio station, Administrator of the District Hospital, Samuel Dekpo said "The hospital's morgue is running out of space"

He added that the Sogakope Distict Hospital made room and accommodated dead bodies from the Richard Novati Hospital following it submerging in flood.

He added that some other dead bodies from the Richard Novati Hospital were sent to other sister facilities with morgues.

It will be recalled that recent spillage of the Akosombo Dam has left over 30 communities flooded.
