Deputy Minister of Gender and Social Protection, Freda Akosua Prempeh has confirmed that her Ministry will use Social Media Influencer, Rosemond Brown known as many as Akuapem Poloo as a scapegoat to deter others from abusing the rights of children.
According to her, although Akuapem Poloo was celebrating her child's birthday, exposing her nudity to the little boy was wrong adding that it will go a long way to affect him psychologically.
Speaking on an Accra-based television station, the Deputy Minister said "If she is not dealt with, someone will go and dump the child anywhere and say the law cannot do anything but once there is law, it is there to protect the child"
She added that it is unprofessional for celebrities to publicly expose their kids adding that they have become targets for kidnappers.
She advised Celebrities and the public who love to expose their children on the internet to desist from such behaviours adding that anyone caught will face the wrath of the law.
ThinkNewsOnline has gathered that if Akuapem Poloo is found guilty, she will be either be charged with 5000 penalty units or serve a 10 year jail term or both.
